Taylor Momsen

Taylor Momsen (born Taylor Marien) is an American actor, singer and song writer. Her most well-known work is for her role as The lead singer in the band group The Pretty Reckless. Multi-talented, she got into the arena of entertainment at the young age two. Proclaiming her life to be an adventure with many work commitments from an early age, she says she "did not have a real life" when she was growing up. The gorgeous, young woman from Missouri was raised with religious tradition of the Roman Catholic faith, but today, she claims that she's not religious anymore. She is descended from ethnic Germans which came from the "then" Russian Empire. She first began her career acting as young children, but later moved to modeling and music. The name of her brand became well-known after her role as "Jenny Humphrey" on the widely-loved "Gossip Girl" series. The smash debut album of her band, "Light Me Up' also helped the band gain recognition. Her talents are diverse, however she says that music is her passion. That's why she's opted to not act anymore and be able to focus her efforts on music.
